Nothing was considered good at this hotel. The 16th floor bedroom was dank, dark & smelled & looked dirty. The curtains & windows were dirty & the room had a terrible odor. The Hotel staff were surly & did not have good manners in handling my complaints.Maybe because of booking at Booking . com they gave us the worst room in the Hotel. we previously stayed at The Salisbury , YMCA, & we were delighted.
The location was fantastic & the staff were so helpful. Our compliments to all that made our stay so wonderful & memorable.
Don't like it at all.
Wanted double bed, given twin. Bath tub are blocked. Heater are spoiled. At night, weird noises non stop. Can hear what the next room's guess talking.
Very central in Kowloon, easy to reach from the airport and not too far from MTR station.
Brown decor was depressing, could not easily open curtains.
The staff came in without knocking my door while I was sleeping although I put a do-not_disturb board on my door. very noisy at coridor while they were doing cleaning.
very convenient. near MTR, shopping area and restos. BUS stop to and from is just right outside the hotel.
Good Location for shopping, eating, entertiment. And the size in the room was enough and clean.
location excellent many shops nearby mtr station is also near for tourist good budget hotel
The carpets were smelling bad.
The location was my main reason for choosing the hotel. I have stayed there before and the value for money is ok (around hkd 1,000.- /day average). The rooms are OK but nothing special. Cleaning is fine. The service in the lobby (luggage storage) is OK but do not expect any good and valuable advice from the staff - not even from the small tourist shop. (The lady could not advise about such a simple thing as a day tour to Shenzhen and the visa upon arrival procedures.) The wireless in the lobby is OK, but the lobby is sometimes very crowded when big groups are arriving/departing. I never tried the food.
I can pay a small amount for Internet connection in the room, but it is very annoying that once you start using the hours, I can not close and start again. The time has to be used once started. I propose a lower daily fee and why not a reduced fee for the whole stay.
Rooms was small as expected: All other things went good:
Due to previous reviews regards hard bed n bed bugs. L emailed the hotel directly after making my booking. L was very pleased that they put extra paddings on the bed. Beddings clean n comfortable. Only issue is the reception staff was very dishonest. l make enquries for airport bus to airport. He rold me its HK$130 per pax. He then helpfully advised that its more economical to book a taxi as it cost HK$240.(2 of us aready cost HK$260). This got me thinking its unlikely airport bus cost more than taxi. So l thank him and the next day, l search the website. And, oh!!!! the cheater! The bus stop to the airport is just like opp. the hotel (3 mins walk) and the cost is HK33 per pax !!! The journey to rhe airport was 45 mins. Very clean n comfortable bus. Oh my! this the first time l encountered such dishonest hotel receptionist. So, fellow travellers, be careful.
The iron and ironing board was not available. I had to ask for it every day and they used to take it back. There was no moisturizer or face soap in the hotel. No free wifi in the rooms and I got bed bug bites during the night.
The room rate suits our budget.
The room assigned to us was quite small. The electrical outlet did not work, we had to use the elec outlet in the bathroom. The room smelt that there was smoking from previous room user.
Good location, clean and convenient facilitites, and friendly staff
Nothing really. It served the purpose for the rate I paid
